Services, Talks and Workshops
Writing Workshop
This workshop focuses on the journey of writing using the building blocks of writing. The workshop has been designed to ignite a spark in putting pen to paper.
These fun and informative sessions have been designed to reignite a love of writing and storytelling.
The workshop will cover the following topics:

Ideally, the workshop day would consist of two classes:
9.45am-11.45am (2 hours)
12.45pm-2.45pm (2 hours)
The cost of the whole day workshop is £600.
Flexibility with the times of the workshop can be discussed.
Please note that my book: ‘Building Blocks of Writing – A parent’s guide’ will be available to buy, or order on the day.
Working in Partnership with Parents
The DfE expect that all schools engage with parents and produce a bank of resources to help parents understand how they can support what their child is learning in school, with their own teaching at home.
The ‘Building Blocks of Writing- A parent’s guide’ is the perfect tool to ensure that parents and schools work together.
Schools will receive a discount for books bought in bulk for parents.
Alternatively, if a school, or academy wishes to buy a book and then reproduce it, then you can buy a license to print an unlimited amount of copies.

Memoir Writing
Every story deserves to be told and many stories are sadly lost, due to family members passing away.
Find out more about my debut book Love Letters from London here.
I can interview family members, source pictures, ghost write and print a book full of cherished memories that can be passed onto future generations.
Payment plans are available. Please contact me for further information.

Author Talks
I offer author talks at writing groups, libraries, schools and events about the experiences of writing books and my experience as a teacher and journalist.
My fee is £350 for a full day, or £150-200 for a half day, or single talk (plus expenses).

“My daughters, aged 5 and 7, love reading and have become increasingly interested in telling and writing stories, but I’d been struggling to help inspire them. I was thrilled to read The Building Blocks of Writing, as it gives valuable insights into inspiring young budding writers, plus easy to use tasks to get kids creating. I’m excited to take them through the steps to see what ignites their imaginations.”
